I tried it and I understand what's happening, and there is an easier way. What you do is just passing the tie from the bottom side to the top side (you flip the loop) and then just untie it from the top side

You can clearly see on the green rod there is a reflection. But as this person pulls the cord. The reflection is now gone. Nice camera work. Also your utility knife is moving all over the place.
The cord is not stuck it is fed under the bar and both ends are on the same side it isn't a real solution to anything.

Holy crap. I thought it was fake. After 10 attempts, I actually got it! I started thinking I did it wrong because it doesn't even look real.
This was pretty cool and it works. I’m in construction and I’ve never gotten myself into a situation like this but if you couldn’t figure out the steps shown in the video just start with the other end of the extension cord. Depending on the length of the extension cord it would take a little longer but you wouldn’t have to remember all the steps. Still neat though
or, just hear me out, lift the fucking pole or get the cord unstuck using the other side of the cord.
